Detailed summary

Memorable quotes

Gus: The beating of the corpse man's drum will not rat-a-tat-tat on this happening, darlings.

Thorn: I'm a good look for you, Daphne.

Gus: Let loose the doves of change!

Gus: Pray think I'm the phantom because I was Fantzee Pantz's manager? Heh heh heh. Groovy chiclets. Fantzee Pantz went down the rabbit hole after the record gods dumped him to make room for the Hex Girls. Poor Fantzee. We knew him well.

Mayor Jones: Bug-eyed biscuits, Fred, couldn't you have waited until after the show to catch the phantom?

Gus: Doth my eye shadow deceive? How did you know?

Daniel: And I'd do it again, if it weren't for the uncanny boy band knowledge of you meddling brats!

Behind the scenes

Errors

  • Fred also recalls a third scene from "Battle of the Humungonauts," which not only happened two episodes later, but the scene in question where Daphne takes off her hardhat in beautiful slow motion never even happened.
  • It should be an error that Daphne finally becomes her own woman and moves on from Fred, only to forget all that growth when Fred is open to one day possibly exploring his feelings with Daphne. One day.
  • The song "Hex Girl" is credited as "Hex Girls."

Legacy

  • The Hex Girls made a second appearance in "Dance of the Undead."
  • Shaggy mentions that Harry got sent to prison along with Daniel, although he must've got him back because he's in Shaggy's bedroom in "Battle of the Humongonauts."
